gentle exercise for the mind
“I’ve got some things I have to say,” is apparently a terrible reason to write, according to my college creative writing teacher. But here I am, setting up my booth and arranging my wares in such a manner as to catch your eye.
I get it. It’s a sprawling market place chock full of booths. But here you are. I hope you will hang out, let me know what’s going on, tell me what you think.
Right now I am “About” an essay a week, with a goal of writing for one year. I assume I have at least 52 ideas worth developing and sharing. I try to make them easy reads - sometimes fun, or funny. Many essays slide into thoughtful reflection on this or that. Writing can be gentle exercise for the mind. Mine while writing, yours while reading.
always free
I’m not in it for the money. I’ve always wanted to write that. And I mean it. It’s enough to know you stopped by, even now and then. Subscribing is easy, and doesn’t obligate you to do anything. I am sure there are a few followers who just can’t wait for the next Thursday post. I don’t know who they are. But I care about all of you, the avid reader, the quasi-avid reader and those just poking around.

I want to hear what you think. Or whatever moves you. Like, share, show you care!
